Recently, we hosted an online webinar across Facebook and LinkedIn titled ‘Understanding the Numbers’.
Aimed specifically for Architects, Home Owners and Developers, we covered some of the hidden numbers to be aware of when it comes to understanding a Builder’s quote.
During the session, an example project was used to demonstrate how you can distinguish the disingenuous quotes and how to ensure a fair comparison between tenders.

Darren Zhou joined Magico Constructions as a Director in 2013. He has over 15 years of practical experience working in construction ever since he started when he was 16 years old. Darren has completed a Bachelor of Design in Architecture at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), along with Certificate IV in Building & Construction and a Diploma of Building and Construction. Darren brings a unique perspective to construction projects as he is understand and appreciate the architectural design intent on building projects whilst considering practicality when it comes to construction.
We use a state-of-the-art cloud-based management software to connect and communicate with everyone on the project team including clients, architects, engineers, other consultants and subcontractors. This ensures that all parties access the same information and blueprints, and are able to share live updates
on-site or at any location.
